A huge thank you to Mark Whaley from Making It Out for organising our latest Criminal Justice Forum meeting. The event saw an impressive turnout, with 22 attendees representing a wide range of organisations across the criminal justice and rehabilitation sectors.
We were delighted to welcome Fiona from Fedcap, Tom from Palladium, and Matthew from Ingeus, who each gave insightful presentations as Prime Bidders for the upcoming recommissioning of Commissioned Rehabilitative Services (CRS). Their contributions sparked engaging discussions around the future of CRS contracts—set to roll out in 2027—and highlighted key uncertainties, particularly around what commissioners are ultimately looking to see delivered. Everyone in the room showed a clear investment in shaping the future of rehabilitation services and the atmosphere was positive with lots of productive discussions and learning along the way.
It was fantastic to see so many familiar and new faces at the forum—including a special welcome to the High Sheriff of East Sussex, whose presence underscored the importance of these conversations to the wider community.
We’re also incredibly grateful to the Sussex Innovation for hosting us in such a bright and spacious room.
Keep an eye on our website and newsletter for future forum dates and opportunities to contribute.
