Chief Executive Officer

Job responsibilities: As CEO, Shirl oversees the management and strategic funding of Sussex Pathways. She leads the team towards delivering an effective, client-centred service which changes lives for the better.

Length of service: 8 years
Job responsibilities: Lucy manages the Pathways to Change Programme that Sussex Pathways runs for men being released from local Prisons to Sussex. This programme supports men with prison release planning and support in the community to assist with factors that may lead to re-offending. She manages the recruitment and supervision of volunteer key workers who provide one to one support to our clients.

Length of service: Nigel was a Volunteer Key Worker for two years prior to taking up the staffing post in June 2020.
My principal responsibility is to support the delivery of Pathways to Change PTC, including Through the Gate TTG in line with current funding streams. Undertaking Assessment process with clients and liaison with other agencies. Supporting VKWs including regular 121’s. Supporting the work of the Charity. Nigel has also recently become Mindfulness change.

Restorative Justice Project Coordinator
Length of service: Susie has worked for Sussex Pathways for 4 years, since 2016.
Job responsibilities: Susie is the Project Coordinator for Sussex Pathways and works alonside the Sussex RJ Partnership by promoting restorative justice in HMP Lewes. She takes and processes referrals, holds her own cases and facilitates restorative justice visits and conferences within HMP Lewes. Susie also supports the applications for fund raising for the charity.

Restorative Justice / Group and Volunteers Support
Length of service: Rosanna has worked for Sussex Pathways since October 2019, although in 2015 she volunteered as a Volunteer Key Worker whilst studying at undergraduate level.
Job responsibilities: Rosanna is RJ trained and supports Susie in the RJ Project. Rosanna also supports the volunteers and is involved in the recruitment of new volunteers. Recently Rosanna has become Mindfulness trained and supports our groups in the prison and community.

Job responsibilities: Karren manages the day to day admin from Sussex Pathways and the Lamplight case management system. She also runs the payroll. Outside of this Karren holds a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF) and assists with the Sussex Pathways training courses.
